Thomas Kennedy has developed a huge range of surfaces with Scagliola, and all are totally unique. Almost any colour can be achieved, and the surface can be polished, honed, matt, or textured. Complex designs can be made using inlay, but equally stunning are the finishes which look natural, but are unavailable as a natural material.

This flexibility results in a finish which is tailored exactly to the clients colour scheme, and will be exclusive to that commission. The initial stages of a project often entail an extensive process of making samples for client approval.

For more information on how scagliola is made, refer to the Press page. The "Humans Invent" or "House and Garden 2011" pieces in particular have plenty of detail.
