Kennedy Design Studios provides a professional service supplying art furniture and sculpture to interior designers, developers, architects and private clients.

Our specialist material is Scagliola, a 17th Century plasterwork technique practised by only a handful of artists in the world today. Our passion is to take this traditional and rare technique forward into the 21st Century, using it in original and challenging ways.

The use of Scagliola ensures that each piece, be it sculpture, dining table, or inlaid picture, is unique and designed either by ourselves or in close collaboration with the client / interior designer.

The broad range of work supplied by Kennedy Design Studios is achieved through the collaboration of husband and wife team Thomas and Louisa Kennedy. Louisa has over 20 years experience as a sculptor since studying at the RCA. Thomas began working with Scagliola in 1994; initially fascinated with the traditional use of the material, he now focuses on its use in a contemporary setting.
